We are seeking to recruit a part-time Admissions Assistant to support the enquiries and applications process for research degrees at the Institute of Education.
Based in the Doctoral School, you will work closely with other members of the Admissions team provide the highest level of service to potential research degree applicants, as well as supporting those during the application process. You will be required to work with administrative and academic colleagues both in the Doctoral School and across the Institute, and will be the first point of call for walk-in, phone and e-mail enquiries to the Doctoral School.
With strong administrative and IT skills, the ability to work efficiently and achieve a high degree of accuracy, you will have a highly organised, flexible and professional approach to work. You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise workloads.
This post is offered on a 12 month fixed-term basis, working 17.5 hours a week (0.5fte) over 4 or 5 days, flexibly between 10am and 3pm (preferred hours to be discussed at interview).
