Salary:   £52,707 to £65,048 plus £2,323 London Allowance

The Newsam Library and Archives is considered to be the best education research resource in Europe. We are now seeking a Head of Library Services who will build on this reputation, work on a range of strategic developments and provide leadership and management for Library staff. You will also work with other heads of professional services to contribute to Institute and sector wide strategy.

You will need to have substantial experience in a leadership or management role in a large complex library which has a strong focus on research, including successfully implementing changes to enhance service delivery for students. You will need to be able to inspire confidence in our academic community and lead staff through a period of change. 

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape the future of the library service, contribute to the strategic development of the Institute.  Salary could be negotiable for an exceptional candidate.
